Creamy Ranch Dressing

Ohio is one of the three cloudiest states in the Union, so with Spring and Summer just around the corner and the promise of a hint of sunshine--Let the salad recipes begin!
The best part of the salad is the dressing and it is so easy to make, usually much healthier. Let's start with a base and some suggestions for variety.
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup sour cream or buttermilk
a couple sprigs of parsley
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
pinch celery powder
a couple chives
This is the easiest, fastest way I have ever made dressing, I really love my "smart stick".
Finished, that fast.
Here's a list of other ingredients I have tried and worked well.
2 oz. blue cheese
2 oz. parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons tomato paste
mashed avocado ( use immediately because the batch will turn gray, not so appetizing )
cilantro
smoked paprika
dill
Experiment, have fun!
